each work of art is a headstone in which i remember the little girl i once was. how i died for the sins of others, leaving behind parts of myself so they could be more comfortable.

i have had flay so many parts of me open to find me again. a tremendously intimate work revealing my soul back to myself; a deep shedding of layers i put on to hide myself.

every piece is an uncomfortable reconnection with those parts i once lost and found again on the other side.

this is my resurrection.
